The past year we have seen the hottest group of movies to represent in the Oscars. Whether it was floating around in space for hours or blowing cocaine and laundering money, this years Oscars has had the best nominees in years. Matthew McConaughey won his first Oscar as best actor in Dallas Buyers Club while Jared Leto won best supporting actor who was also in Dallas Buyers Club. but the films that brought back the gold was 12 years a slave and Gravity....as expected. 12 years a Slave won 3 academy awards including best picture while Gravity won a whopping total of 7 academy awards.

DeleteIt was depressing to see so many Americans turn away from the crises in Crimea to see a few puffed up thespians get awards for doing things so trivial.
